Parent View - Give Ofsted your view on your child's school

What are we learning?

As writers Class 2 will be putting themselves in the shoes of a Viking raider invading England and  writing their own story about their adventure.

Towards the end of term each child in Class 2 will choose an area of the Vikings topic which interests them to create an information page for our class book which will go into the school library.

As mathematicians Class 2 will be focussing on Viking themed problem solving inspired by the book ’What A Viking!’   We will be focussing on different measures, area and distance.

We will also be concentrating on the core number work (four operations) which underpins all mathematics work.
