Carol Olivier (Chair of Governors)
I have recently retired from a fulfilling 40 year career in Teaching.
During that time I worked in Primary schools as a class teacher and as a Deputy and Acting Headteacher.
I was chair of London Drama, a professional association for teachers with an interest in drama in education.
I enjoy Tai Chi and dancing.
I now live in Ebberston and I am very happy to be involved in this lovely local school.
Denise Crosier
Denise is a Foundation Governor appointed by York Diocese.
She is the recently retired Headteacher of Filey Church of England Nursery and Infant Academy.
Jane Ahmed
I have worked as a primary teacher for over 10 years and have experience in working in a range of settings from inner London schools to small rural schools within North Yorkshire. I have led many different subjects and aim to use this knowledge in my governor role. There is something particularly special about being part of smaller church schools and I feel lucky to have a role in supporting this lovely school.
During my free time, I enjoy yoga, badminton and reading as many books as possible.
Clive Stoneham
My family have recently moved to the area and our two daughters joined the school. We have all been very impressed with the ethos and culture of the school. I was keen to put myself forward to be a parent governor to support the running of the school.
Christopher Moorwood
Stuart Arch
I am a retired Assistant Headteacher and Science consultant who has worked with primary and secondary teachers for 35 years.
I live in Snainton and have been involved with the village hall as a trustee, organising events like the Winter Talks. I spend my spare time playing golf rather badly, supporting Liverpool FC and being with my grandchildren whenever I can.
Carla Benitez
I have recently taken on the role of becoming a parent governor to our small village school.
My son currently attends nursery and will progress through the primary school. My daughter will follow him.
I have 12 years of experience in education working in a residential school supporting children and young people with special educational needs.
I want to support our village school and contribute to the learning and development of our young people.
In my free time I enjoy baking, walking my dog and being outdoors.
