Democracy Rule of Law Respect and tolerance Individual liberty
The school curriculum makes explicit links with British Values. Children are expected to learn the meaning of British Values within the context of their learning and will develop a deep understanding of them over time. To support them with this, we use "No Outsiders" resources and assemblies.
Cultural opportunities
Our school sits in a rural part of North Yorkshire. We aim for our curriculum to include a broad range of diverse experiences that provide greater enrichment for each of our children. This includes visitors, school visits, community events, global links
