Meet the Governors

Carol Olivier (Chair of Governors)

I have recently retired from a fulfilling 40 year career in Teaching.

During that time I worked in Primary schools as a class teacher and as a deputy and acting headteacher.

I was chair of London Drama, a professional association for teachers with an interest in drama in education.  

I enjoy Tai Chi and dancing.

I now live in Ebberston and I am very happy to be involved in this lovely local school.

Denise Crosier

Denise is a Foundation Governor appointed by York Diocese. 

She is the Headteacher of Filey Church of England Nursery and Infant Academy.

I have two children Snainton CE Primary School, both currently in Maple Class and thoroughly enjoying their time there. Although the school has faced several challenges recently, I believe that it is a small school with all of the ingredients needed to provide an environment that allows pupils to flourish. I have taken the role of Parent Governor to represent parent's interests on the Board of Governors and to help the school develop and reach its undoubted potential.

I am a Registered Nurse working working with the General Surgery and Urology teams at Scarborough Hospital, currently undertaking an MSc in Surgical Care Practice. In my spare time I enjoy running, cycling and walking.
